First look at KDE 4 2

Linux most powerful desktop environments are the GNOME and KDE. Both have their pro’s and con’s and both are exceptionally well built with great features. But the most talked desktop environment these days is the upcoming release of KDE 4. Most of its code has been re-written and has ported new and improved code and applets to make it the most promising desktop environment for Linux desktops.

Amarok, Plasma, Kwin and Dolphin are the new applications that i love the most. A lot has been changed in KDE 4, most notably is the new stylish icon set from Oxygen. Oxygen has re-defined all aspects of KDE’s user interface, including the window decorations and theme.
